A new agistee, welcome Mac. Black Thoroughbred gelding. That's three guys and two gals.
We have finished the pergola roof and bar. Almost, have a few more screws to put in to hold it down in the rain.
And the frog pond now has a sail to keep the water cool in summer.

Pelting
We got about four inches of rain on Friday and Saturday. This morning broke fine but showers are still coming through. We now have a lake in the adjoining large paddock to the south. But our lowest points are still above that. (That's Mt Sugarloaf in the background of the photo).
Fixed a loose electric fence post, but not done so much this weekend. Tax. I've got to get under the house with the insecticide and kill fleas, cockroaches and maybe even prevent termites I dont know.
Did my first ever welding with the arc welder I got for Christmas. Scary, dangerous, frustrating and exciting - in that order. Thought I'd ruined my right eye when I lowered the mask while it was still sparking. But way cool when I got the knack of striking the rod correctly and getting the plasma sizzling. Molten steel splashing everywhere! I now have the tray for a tractor carry all. Though I now have to design the three 3 point hitch attachment and how it attaches to the tray, because the 3mm steel and the welds dont look strong enough to do other than bend. Fun to do.

Frog pond from above
...
I fly over the house on the way back and the circle overhead while a 737 makes its approach over the river. I notice the frog pond for the first time from the air. It looks great!
