What better way to dress up the place than with some post a rail fencing? Not cheap, but looks great. Half way through it.
And we now have a little dam over the other side so we dont need to siphon water over from the dam to the bath tubs.

Hi V,
Nice to see you're back. We got the pro's in to do one length of ours (yes, it's not cheap), then did the rest ourselves after watching them. I put it down to a short, $3000 TAFE course followed by a practical exercise. Our bit looks as good as the pro's (even if I do say so myself)!
Thanks Patch, well done with the TAFE course and the DIY. I didnt even suspect they had one on fencing, but of course they must teach them somehow. I actually did a certain amount of unskilled labour in carting wood and road base, painting etc. So maybe next fence I put up wont be as "rustic" as my first attempt!
Ooops, didn't mean that I actually did a TAFE course. Watching the fencing guys put in $3000 worth of post and rail was sorta LIKE doing a TAFE course. I'm sure if there was such a thing, it wouldn't cost that much (I'd hope).
Sort of a Cert I in Post and Rail Fencing. Which I guess I now hold too then!
