Rabbits

We have rabbits. We had hares, which are no problem. And we saw rabbits about a year ago down at the railway line about a kilometre away. But now there are *some* underneath Kid's shelter. Noticed when Panda had spent the whole day in the shelter waiting for a rabbit to come out. When none did and Panda took a comfort break back out the house out it came. Hoppity hop. Then back in before Panda could get back! Nasty.

Yep, me too! Like your first large-eared visitors though, I'm pretty sure ours are hares (see the photo on the blog... high speed action shot!).

I used to trap them as a kid but I'd never do that again, too cruel. Petrol engine exhaust down the hole? Has to be petrol as diesel doesn't produce carbon monoxide and normal diesel exhaust takes way to long to kill. Maybe time to get the rifle.

CYA, Patch.

Panda has persisted and succeeded in bringing us fresh rabbit. We dont want them. He's never been as huge as he is getting. Eating rabbits.
